4 Point Sheraton, San Diego

If you stayed there, was there a problem with noise from the planes?

Where is it exactly? I didn't think the one by the airport on Harbor Island was a 4 points?

It is on Aero Drive exit 163 off of I8.
The mapquest map shows an airfield behind it, but the hotel description lists it as being eight miles from the SD Int. airport. Could the one shown be a smaller private type field?

I'm not familiar with the hotel but if it's off Aero Drive and Hwy 163, it will be Montgomery Field - a fairly busy airport for light aircraft and helicopters. If the hotel is not within 2-3 blocks of the airport, aircraft noise should not be a factor.

There shouldn't be much, if any, noise from planes. The hotel is quite far from the take-off end of the runway and no air traffic will be flying overhead.

Oh, I know where that is. It's at the corner of Montgomery field - pretty small airplanes take off and land there. Not really a very touristy spot to stay. How did you pick it?

I've stayed there. It was quiet, didn't hear a thing. No problems at all. It was fine.
