3 days in Napa
My wife and I are spending a few days in St Helena. After reviewing all the messages on this board, I've narrowed down my choices for restaurants to Girl and the Fig (stop for Lunch on the way from SF), Tra Vigne, Terra, Mustards, Brix, and Bistro Jeanty. Any suggestions on which are better for Dinner vs. Lunch. We'll be there from Wednesday to Saturday Afternoon.

The Girl and the Fig are in the town of Sonoma----doable but not Napa Valley. Suggest Domaine Chandon for a lovely lunch or a romantic quiet dinner. Greystone at the CIA is great for lunch. Mustard's would be easier for lunch---very crowded at dinner. If you like Mexican there's a little place called Red Hen Cantina on the west side of 29 just near Yountville---suggested for lunch. And don't forget about getting a great picnic lunch from Oakville Grocery and eating at one of the pretty wineries with a good bottle of their wine.Keep Bistro Jeanty, Tra Vigne and Terra for dinners. Make reservations well ahead for all three.
