2nd Volcano Inn on Big Island?

Does anyone know anything about the Volcano Inn on Second St? It's different from the more famous one with the same name on Old Volcano Road. Anyone has stayed there? Is it actually in Volcano Village? Please share your experience.

Please recommend any other place close to the Volcano National Park. We just want to crash there for one night after the lava flow viewing that night. Something in a convenient location, clean, safe. Nothing too fancy. Budget place is preferred.

Thanks!

I recommend My Island B&B (808) 967-7110 for budget accommodations at Volcano. Delightful hosts. Beautiful gardens, too!

Country Goose B&B (www.countrygoose.com) is also great and they will let you stay for only one night.

Yep, My Island requires a two night stay, I believe. Kilauea Lodge, of course, would also be a nice option.

Topping to topple those who would ruin this forum with childish protests. Ban them all!
