I second the previous posters recommendations -- my husband and I stayed at Kilaeau Lodge just outside Volcanos Nat. Park- very romantic, excellent breakfast, very clean -
and we stayed at Outrigger Keauhou near Kona side- right on the water, tidepools, great beach right there and a terrace that is right over the water where you can see all kinds of fish in the evening -- check out some of the Big Island trip reports..
have a great time!! (sorry about my BAD SPELLING!)

Just saw this place in the Sunday travel section. Looks like a new B&B. It right next to a waterfall and swimming hole.
I'll probably check it out myself next time I'm in Hilo.

Not sure what type of accommodations you are looking for (hotel vs. B&B) in June I stayed at the Volcano Inn and it was really great, nice owners, excellent prices and less than 10 minutes to Volcano National Park. Have a great trip.
