I need an idea for a fun casual bar/restaurant to meet for a 1st date. Im coming from Boston and she lives in Derry NH.. any ideas? I dont want her to have to drive more than 20 mins

I think I've seen a question like this on chowhound.com and the answer was a place in Nashua.
I don't think there is anything in Salem NH except chains. Friends and I haven't been able to find a decent place for lunch. Good luck!

Main Street in Nashua has good choices. Try Michael Timothy's - bar/restaurant.

Martha's Exchange is across the street in the next block. Nice bar scene in casual restaurant. Directly across the street is Surf, more a restaurant.

You asked almost this exact question back in September for another first date in southern NH. You should start writing these places down!
