Hi, we are 2 girls planning to travel during June or July from the UAE. Can I have any good suggestions on a 1week holiday that we girls can plan out for? Europe is something that looks interesting to us. We wish to make sure that the city is safe to travel as we would be heading out all alone by ourself. We are not much into clubbing/partying/night life. We would be very keen on nature, history, sight seeing, shopping and food

European cities, certainly any areas you will visit, are quite safe. If you are interested in visiting Europe you should post this on the Europe board, where you will get more readers. But you need to describe your interests - art, buildings, food, wine, beaches, scenery etc. etc.

I agree. European cities are generally quite safe for visiting. You have to watch out for petty crime like pickpocketing, but with a few precautions, you can really limit your risk with regard to that. For your personal safety, you really don't have much to worry about.

The people on the European board can help you figure out where specifically would best suit your interests.

Buy a guidebook on Europe and do some research. Use Google to find some suggestions. Your question as asked is FAR too broad for worthwhile suggestions. All you will get is a list of cities other people like. Paris, Rome, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, Athens, how many do you want?

Asking on the Europe board will not help change that.
