PA to Kansas

Need some interesting trip ideas. We will be driving for 2 days going from southeastern pa to kc, mo. Does anyone have a few ideas of stops we could make along the way to break up the driving and make things interesting?

I'd re-post this over on the United States forum. You will get some response here, but the USA board gets much, MUCH, MUCH more activity than here on Travel Tips & Trip Ideas.

Fewer people will see your post here . . .

yes, you have some answers (after you posted here this AM)

But I'd guess the main reason you haven't received much feedback is: For some reason you tagged your new thread 'Kansas'. Why was that? Your route from PA to MO wouldn't have you going through KS. You are really asking about PA, OH, IN, IL, and MO, but definitely not Kansas . . . .

It looks like the midway point is Indianapolis where I live. Will you have any children with you? If so there are several options. There is a hotel with a water park inside located at the northwest corner of I-465 on Michigan Road (Caribbean Cove is the hotel name). The Children's Museum here is AMAZING. Highly recommend it but that would/could/should take up an entire day. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas the White River Gardens next to the zoo has an electric train exhibit which is very interesting. There are also loads of other museums, like the NCAA Hall of Champions, the Eiteljorg Native American Museum... hope this helps in time for your trip!
