July/August travel

Hello. I am looking for recommendations on where to take a 2-3 week trip in August. My boyfriend and I have considered multiple places, but it seems weather is a limiting factor. We really don't mind being in places during peak season. We were heavily considering South Africa, but it sounds like it is a bit chilly and rainy. We considered Japan, but it sounds like humidity is an issue. We considered Brazil, but Zika virus is limiting factor as I am child bearing age. We have both dine a bit of Europe previously.

The trip I am looking for will include adventure, learning, as well as incorporating relaxation.

My career will limit my travel for the next 5 years and will likely be starting a family soon.

Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated.

Where are you traveling from?

What type of budget do you have?

What type of activities do you enjoy? Sorry but "adventure" and "learning" doesn't tell us much without knowing what you consider "adventurous" (there's a big difference between sky-diving and hiking in the woods) and what you want to "learn".

What kind of "weather" are you looking for? It can be humid everywhere. If you want to avoid "chilly & rainy" in August avoid areas that are in the far reaches of the southern hemisphere.
