Ear Plug Brand?

Has anyone a suggestion for quality ear plugs for sleep while traveling? I have used several types that feel very uncomfortable, fall out and/or hurt. I found a website all about ear plugs, but has anyone had any personal experience with a partcularly good brand?

I like the silly putty type better than the spongy kind. I tear the putty gel ones up to make them more comfortable, but not so small that they go inside your ear canal. Also smash the putty to fully cover he area and so it doesn't stick out and hurt your ear when you sleep. I used them on every trip.

YES! The spongey kind are terrible. I will try the silly putty kind. Thank you so much for this helpful tip!

This is probably another "to each his own" type of discussion, like where's the best pizza in Chicago. I've been using ear plugs nightly for about 15 years, and now I can't sleep without them under any circumstances. I've tried all kinds and could not get used to the putty type. They felt sticky and yucky to me. I rely on Flents Quiet! Please foam ear plugs -- never had a problem or any discomfort with them. They're thicker and more substantial than other foam type plugs I've tried.

I like Quiet made by Howard Leight. I use the smallest size. Here's a link to the company which I hope copies OK:

I used to buy them from regular sports stores and WalMart but now I see larger sizes most of the time so I'm on the look-out to replenish my stock.

Suze--I use Ear Planes for the pressure, not for quiet, etc. They work great for my use and have really helped a few times when I have flown with colds and such. But just for quiet or to sleep I just use whatever DH brings home from work, lol!
