Santiago - where to stay?

With a myriad choices of neighborhoods and places to stay, I'm not sure what to pick for Santiago. I will be spending a Friday in Santiago before flying out the next evening. I tend to like artsy, boho-chic, quaint type of places (B&Bs, hotels). An added bonus would be easy to access restaurants, eating and nightlife. Any recommendations?

Everyone recommendss Orly. I stayed at Best Western Lo Espanoles, which is near the Bellavista neighborhoor. If there is a hotel or G&b in that area I woule try to stay there.

I looked up Orly. It looks great! Definitely on the shortlist. Thanks!

Orly tends to sell out, if you want it I wouldn't wait. I couldn't get in! Los Espanoles was ok for a second choice. I notice Ibis has a location in Providencia, of course they aren't quaint in any way but it's a good location (and priced that way).

Hotel Orly is a nice option, quiet and some nice restaurants in the neighbororough but it's not boho chic...
Cumbres lastarria is very nice, quiet if youn ask a room on the patio, and a lot of very nice restaurants along the streets here...
Not far the altiplanico santiago, but rooms tend to be smaller...

The Cumbres in Lastarria is a new hotel but in a neighbourhood you will probably like. Its restaurant is well reviewed. There is also the Lastarria Boutique Hotel in the same area. Less hotel-like and smaller. No lack of good restaurants in the area.
