Flight arrangement & help needed for S America trip
Hi, I will be making a big trip from Asia, possibly flying through Europe to get to South America. For that, it's easy for me to make the flight booking, but I really need help to go to all the places I want to visit:
Rio de Janeiro
Iguacu Falls (Argentina & Brazil)
Buenos Aires
El Calafate
Lima - can miss as I really want to see Sacred Valley but have to fly into Lima anyway to get to Sacred Valley
Cusco (Macchu Picchu, Pisac, Ollaytatambo)
Arequipa (Colca Canyon)
That will be a lot of flying to do and I would like some advice as to which travel agency in S America can do that for us. Forummers have given advice on checking LAN website and using LAN pass but this is one thing I don't mind getting professional help on esp when I don't speak the language (in the event there are changes).
Also, I don't mind using a guide and package for certain places like Rio and Arequipa/Colca Canyon although I have specific ideas on accommodation.
Anyone has any agents to recommend that can help me develop my itinerary?

Eugenio Ovalle handled our three week trip to Argentina and Chile in 2009 as well as parts of a six week trip to Spain and Portugal a few years ago. He will take care of as much of the planning and booking as you wish. We really were pleased with LAN airlines.

In Brazil, Gol airlines is a regional airline that flies from SP or Rio to almost all of Brasil. I have a great contact for a guide in Rio. He speaks English and will take excellent care of you. I was just there with a group in October.
There are other options in Peru and I've found that making flight reservations when in country is less expensive and you learn about more regional airlines like Star Peru, etc. LAN does cover most of the country, but I find their fares to be on the high side.
I can share with you a good idea for Brazil, but it depends on where you fly into - Sao Paulo or Rio. There are a few suggestions that I have for areas outside of Rio, like Paraty or Buzios or Cabo Frio, but it depends on how long you have in Rio.
