Day trip to Iguazu Falls from BA.

Can anybody give me suggestions on how i can do a day trip to Iguazu Falls??
Should i take a flight to Iguazu Falls or Iguazu (much cheaper)??
What time do the flights arrive in the morning typically??

Can anybody suggest some websites (in English) to book bus trips in Argentina & Chile??

Bus websites for chile:

http://www.gochile.cl/en/guides/chil...portation.html

http://www.busescruzdelsur.cl/

and for Argentina:

http://www.andesmar.com/shop/default.asp?lang=en

if they don't display in English then try "translate"n the google toolbar.

Can't help with the Iguazu question (but it does seem a hell of a long way in one day!)

You can fly to Iguazu from BA with either Aerolineas Argentinas or Lan, and there are several flights a day but you're still really pushing it for a day trip - it takes several hours to see even one side of the falls, let alone both. I'd really consider staying overnight to get the most out of it: if you're coughing up for the airfare anyway, it's a shame to rush things?

Take an early morning flight in (sit on the right side to see the falls - awesome!) and the late flight out to see it in one day. The Sheraton is quite expensive and we felt the food was pretty dismal/overpriced (they have a captive audience). ie:; Caesar Salad had some kind of mayonnaise dressing. If you do stay overnight, include a side trip to Caves of Wanda nearby. Really interesting and purchase some lovely stones. Otherwise we felt 2 whole days was a lot. We only went to the Argentinian side, did not want to pay for the Brazilian Visa for a brief visit.

I agree with Graziella. If you cannot manage an overnight - then you will have a great focus for your next visit to SA.

If you do come for a night, and if you do stay at the Sheraton (which I would if I were coming for only one night) then you can take a taxi to town, Puerto de Iguazu, for a nice dinner and stroll. If you stay overnight, you will be able to spend a 1/2 day on the Brazilian side of the Falls - and have the benefit of the different panorama from that vantage point.....so worth it !!!
