Chile Wine Tour, recent info?

Has anyone done a wine tour of Chile recently? The posts on this forum on this topic are pretty old.

Did you use a tour service (cost?) or do it alone? How many days? Area you went to/Route? Recommendations and hints? Best areas and wineries to visit?

Thank you in advance. Starting to plan a trip and this info would be most helpful.
Eileen

Friends raved about their experience with www.slowtrav.cl.
I plan to use them on our next trip to Chile.

I have not been on those tours but saw the guide, driver and van when our friends left Santiago with them. We were together in Santiago at an event and then parted. They reported back that they were extremely happy with their tours, the hotels and the whole experience.

Thanks again Happy. Yours was the only review that included someone being happy w/the tour they took. I am going to contact that co.

Happy, would you please share your Chile itinerary w/me, where did you go, and how did you like the places you went?
