BA and Mendoza or BA and IF

My wife and I are traveling to BA for 7 days in late September. We are considering a side trip to either Iguazu or Mendoza. First time in Argentina for my wife; I haven't been there for 30 years. We like nature and wine; so both options seem like they are good. Any thoughts?

If you enjoy wine and nature, I would drink the wine in Buenos Aires, and enjoy the nature in Iguazú.

The falls are one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world - the first destination I would choose if I were a tourist coming to Argentina.

I agree. With just 7 days definitely BA and Iguazu. Depending upon your nationality i would recomend spending a couple of nights in iguazu and taking the time to visit both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the falls, which offer totally different perspectives (Visa fees are expensive for some nationalities)

No contest. Iguazu and BA. Loved the comment above...enjoy wine in BA, and visit Iguazu. Naturual beauty at its jaw dropping, eye popping best. And fwiw, the bar at the Sheraton Iguazu offers a good wine list. Enjoy a glass or two while looking at the falls from the comfort of your chair.....
