Argetina Itenary Feedback?

Hoping to take our first trip to South America this December. Normally we go to Europe.

I am go-go-go, boyfriend likes to take it a bit easier. Hoping to do some day trips from BA as well.

You could spend less time in Iguazu. Why not include Patagonia, it is excellent in summer time?

I agree 2 days 1-2 nights will do for the Falls. I would add time to the NW region (Salta). Three days is no where near enough time, the minimum would be 4.

Hi, I agree with yestravel. NW deserves some time as much as better and you have so much to see.
Do not miss Purmamarca - Salt Flats - Tilcara - Humahuaca and Cafayate in the Calchaquies Valleys.
As Yestravel said at least 4 days! two for the Jujuy area and two for the Calchaquies Valleys.
Warm regards,
Flintstones

Definitely 2 days is sufficient in Iguazu. Highly recommend staying on the premises of Iguazu Fall at the Sheraton, if $$ permits. Patagonia is beautiful and can't be missed and check our El Chalten - trekking to Fitz Roy.

That itinerary sounds a lot like mine, except, is there a recommendable beach in close proximity (a days bus, a boat, a plane)to BA? At New Years time? With lodging under $200 a night?
