Rio for 4 days. Tour guides? Ideas?
A friend and I are going to be in Rio de Janiero for about 4 days at the end of May - does any one have any suggestions for must-do's or travel guides as our trip is short and we want to see all that we can! Thanks!

The big sights are definitely Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf--both lots of fun. I'd say make sure to spend some time on the beach (quite a scene) and head to the Lapa neighborhood at night for live music and samba dancing. If there is a soccer match at Maracana while you are in town, try to get to the game--and buy tickets EARLY.

I can definitely recommend a tour guide without hesitation - Manu Peclat - he is also highly recommended on tripadvisor as well... he will customize your tour to include exactly what you want to see (Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Lapa, Centro, beaches) in an air-conditioned vehicle... his email is [email protected]

I hope it isn't too late. A very nice place to see the sunset is Forte de Copacabana. You can sit at Colombo Confeitaria for a coffee and see the beeeeeeeautiful view of the beach.
Other must do is a ultra leve fly. You won't regret. And you can buy a package with photos or video.
