Our favorite excursion was the Sun and Fun Guided Jet Ski Tour - It was us, one other couple and the guide for a 2 hour tour. We rode across to the South Side (I believe is what the guide said) He took us to a beach cave. We went up into the cave where there is a wood and rope ladder to climb on top of the cave. Very nice views of the surrounding beach and water. Next we headed to a beach with shallow water to look for starfish. We found two. The water was very calm, warm and crystal clear. From a distance, the sand was so white is almost looked like snow.
Middle Caicos with Silver Deep - The tour started by going over to Iguana Island then a hour and 15 minute boat ride to Middle Caicos to the Caves. Next to Mudjadin Beach for lunch, swimming and snorkeling. Beautiful Beach. Next, we went to a reef in the open water by a shipwreck for snorkeling. The last stop was to a beach for shelling. There was numerous shells and a couple of people found some sand dollars. There were 10 people on the boat.
Sail Provo Full Day Snorkel with Lunch - First stop was Iguana Island then we did several stops for snorkeling including inside the barrier reef, which had the best snorkeling of any snorkel spot we been to on the Island. We also stopped at one beach area to look for sand dollars and then another beach stop just for swimming. A full lunch was served. On the way back to the Marina, we saw two dolphins following the boat.

TPAYT: We used J&B Tours and did a 3-hour private charter. The guy took my husband and I to several cays including Half Moon Bay and Fort George Cay. We also stopped at Palm Reef Cay for some snorkeling. It really was wonderful. I can't believe it was in 2006. I think it's time for a trip back to T&C.

May I add one more?
Sitting on a couch under the stars at O'Soliel listening to Daniel and Nadine sing-what ambience!
Or even following them to Da Conch Shack and Tiki Hut like groupies.
e17345: Are you considering going? When? are you considering other places too?

my favorite thing besides chilin on the beach is to drive around looking for other beaches. sopadilla, taylor, northwest point resort beach and another one we found just west of nwpr entrance, malcolm road, longbay beach, the beach in the leeward neighborhood are the ones we found so far. i know there are a few more.

We are BOOKED! So I am getting really excited. Thank you so much for your input. I will certainly 'pay it forward' with a write up and photos upon our return. We are going this April.
Now I am doing research on things to do...when we went to the Grand Cayman, I followed the advise from the fodors contributors and we were not disappointed (swimming with the sting rays by Rum Point….)
So this time around, I am paying attention to what people have done and thought it was worth doing. Thanks again, and keep’em coming!

We did the most amazing snorkel tour with a small group. We snorkeled all morning and then went to a little caye to hang and wander while they made a beach barbeque with the conch we all dove for and lobster they had already had. OMG. It was soooo good.
Just read through my trip report...
It was Silver Deep.

Dont think you'll be dissapointed with T&C island! I've been to Grand Cayman and liked it, but nothing compares to the peace and quiet you can find on many beaches in T&C. Big Blue has an excellent eco Kayak tour that our whole family enjoyed, and we found Long bay beach to have the most calm shallow water that you can easily find starfish and conch to pick up (and of course put back
. I'm going back in April too!

1. Starting the day walking the beach at sunrise
2. Chilling on Grace Bay beach and swimming in that unbelieveably crystal clear turquoise water!
3. Exploring the island (every nook and cranny) in our rented car (a must)and finding great secluded beaches and checking out the BEAUTIFUL homes.
4. Watching the Victoria Secret swimsuit photo shoot on the beach at Amanyara (that was my husband's favorite thing)!
5. Toes in the sand at Da Conch Shack eating THE BEST conch fritter known to man!
6. Sailing and snorkeling with Sail Provo!
7. Eating out at some of the best restaurants I've been to in the Caribbean (Grace's Cottage was our favorite).
8. Looking forward to our next trip!
