Wedding Trip

My fiance and I are wanting to go to Argentina (southern patagonina) for our wedding and honeymoon in January of 2009. We will have approx 3-4 weeks and want to mix it up with a cruise and land tour. We are overwhelmed by everything out there....any suggestions or tips?

I did a cruise on ViaAustralis and it was wonderful - definitly recommend but take sea sickness pills with you as the waters can be rough!!! i suggest going to Los Cerros hotel in el Chalten..it is a beautiful tiny town - great hiking, near the Fitz Roy Range.

Thank you for your response. What was the route of your cruise?

We consider Iguazu Falls one of our most beautiful travel experiences,
ever! We spent three nights at the Sheraton (we wished we had stayed more nights)and paid extra for their falls view room. We also did the "you will get wet, very very wet" Great Adventure boat ride into the falls. We think that you will find the falls very romantic. We used www.wowargentina.com for
the flights and hotel. Now I know that you are going to Patagonia, but with 3-4 weeks, please consider Iguazu Falls.

If you end up doing it on your own instead of through a tour, or just have some extra time, there are some really nice and interesting hotels around Bariloche. Here are reviews of the best ones. www.luxurylatinamerica.com/lux_argentina.html
