Wedding site suggestions

I would like to hear suggestions on good locations where we can host our wedding ceremony and receptions in Puerto Vallarta (can include Nuevo Vallarta) We are looking for a place that can accomodate 30-50 guests and has lots of ammenities and a great beach...a top notch place.

Most of the large hotels would do, Velas Vallarta in the Marine for instance.

I just returned from Puerto Vallarta and stayed at the Marriott Casa Magna in the Marina area. There is a small stretch of land that extends out from the beach into the ocean. There was actually a wedding taking place when we were there and it looked BEAUTIFUL! I am not sure if it can accomodate 30-50 people but it is worth callling to see. I was very impressed with the Marriott overall. The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent. I cannot vouch for the food because we didn't eat any meals at the hotel. Good luck on your wedding planning!

there are two hotels I will recommend for a wedding. Camino Real has it's own private beach perfect for a wedding!!!
Also the Sheraton that's our favorite have seen many weddings there it is a perfect spot and the food at both places is wonderful. Good Luck

I would second that suggestion of the Marriott, and I would add La Quinta Real. La Quinta Real is probably the most "top notch" hotel in PV, but it is not on the beach. It's in the marina area next to the golf course and it has a private beach club with a beach right in front of it. The beach club is right next door to the Marriott. I would agree with the poster who said that that area of beach is fabulous. When we stayed there there was hardly anyone at the beach club. The beach club is nice and intimate. You could have your wedding on the beach, climb the steps back up to the beach club, and have your reception right there. They will drive you to the beach club in golf carts or they will give you brand new bikes to ride over to the club, which is what my husband and I did. There are pictures of the hotel and the beach club at differentworld.com.
