Haven't stayed at VN, but can tell you the value at Costa Verde is very good with the studio plus--great views.

Do a Fodor search in Villas Nicolas. It has come highly recommended as well, and some have mentioned particular rooms. I think I remember someone saying 7-UP was good as far as a view.

ALSO, Villas Nicolas has a good location being right next door to Si Como No and its restaurant. We always enjoyed having lunch there. And there is a great gift shop with internet access. Nice artwork. Not talking you out of it, am I?

OOPS! Should say "Si Como No and its restaurantS" (plural). One more formal than the other.

We're having a similar debate--between Costa Verde, where we've stayed before and the lower apartment in Mot Mot (Tulemar Bungalows). Still looking for someone to tell me we'll like this apartment! I know the upstairs is nicer, but we like the downstairs price and the hotel assures me we still have a ocean view. Anyone?
