Upscale Restaurant-Cancun

Hi- I am bring a group of 85 people to Cancun next winter and am looking for a upscale restaurant (not Mexican) in Cancun or within 1/2 hour drive. Can anyone recommend a restaurant that in your opinion is well suited for 85 people?

Are you saying that there are no upscale Mexican restaurants?

The best upscale restaurants in Cancun are Mexican.

Sorry you'll all miss out...

Sorry, didnt mean to imply there are no upscale Mexican restaurants. We already have 2 nights highlighting Mexican food (out of 5) so I was looking for other dining options in and around Cancun. However, I would also be happy to hear from you regarding your thoughts on upscale Mexican restaurants in Cancun as well to ensure my previous advice is correct!

Upscale Mexican - La Habichuela
Upscale - Ritz Carlton Club Grill
Excellent - Laguna Grill

You might have a hard time finding a truly upscale restaurant that could accommodate that many people - especially seated together.

I don't know that any of the above could. The RC definitely could not. You might not be able to find anyplace outside of hotel banquet facilities that would be able to do that many people for a sit down dinner.

How about the Hacienda Sisal in front of the Royal Sands? It offers a variety of dishes on the menu, the facility is beautiful and unique, and their main room could easily accommodate a party of 85 people. Their wait staff is extremely professional and attentive and the food, extraordinary! I know that they cater as I've seen large weddings in their restaurant. You might find some additional information at this website: royalresorts dot com.
