Getting from Puerto Jimenez to Playa Samara

Wondering what the best way is to do this- don't think there's a direct flight? We will be traveling with a 3 year old, so we want the traveling to be as smooth as possible without a long layover. Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

There is no direct flight from Puerto Jimenez to Samara, however there is one between PJ and Nosara, which is only one hour drive to Samara. Check on Nature Air flights.
Otherwise, if you go by car will be a lot of time and driving, and off course layovers.
Hope this helps!

actually I just checked and you have to go through SJ and have a long layover. Doesn't look like there's an easy way to do this unfortunately?!

Yes, you´ll have a connection in San Jose and another connection, but there is no layover, you will have to wait between one hour and half and two hours, but other than that I think is the easiest and fastest way to do this.
Hope this helps! When will you be flying? Maybe I can help you to check with more details.

Thanks Enchanting! I appreciate your offer to help. I've reconsidered our plan and I think we're going to stick to the Caribbean side instead so we can just stick with driving and keep our costs down. Thank again!
