Travel Agent

Who is the best travel agent in the UK for trips to Costa Rica? If anybody has had an excellent experience with a UK travel agent I would like to know as I am orgnaising a trip myself. I would like someone who knows the area well.

Why are you restricting yourself to an agent in the UK. I live in the states and used one of the top agents located in Costa Rica (costaricaexpeditions.com). I found them to be great and I did all the booking online. They knew everything there was to know about Costa Rica!

Online travel buyer beware - I have just been informed by Pilar at Costa Rica Travel Web aka [email protected] that the web travel service has gone bankrupt that means that any monies that are on deposit with them for accommodations in CR are GONE. Be careful!!

What a shame about that company and those poor people who lost the money on their trips.

We have used Costa Rica Expeditions several times with no problem. They are one of the oldest companies in CR and very well established.

And I can recommend Pat Hewitt of Costa Rica Travel Exchange without hesitation. 110% honest and reliable.
And knows CR very, very well.

And I have to throw in my recommendation for Swiss Travel. Their main office is in San Jose and they do excellent work. [email protected]
