Thanks RAC I appreciate your input. Just trying to compare options. The overnight trip makes quite a dent in the budget but I will make it happen. Sounds like it would be good to shoot for that last minute discount booking...

Hmm, that's a mighty tempting offer, hip...!
To answer your previous question, we're going to Chaa Creek Tent Camp, Clarissa Falls, Hopkins and Caye Caulker. Splurging on Tikal and AMT cave.
How about you?

Cattail, as it stands, due to many considerations, Tikal, Macal River Camp, Lamanai Outpost Lodge, Ruby's and either Tranquility Bay Resort (budget room) or Caye Caulker but leaning towards TBR due to ease of swimming to the reef. So hard to decide but trying to get a variety. Looking forward to your Chaa Creek report! Oh, and definitely doing ATM.

Oh, and as far as BDC if you should come into a windfall or have a good tax return refund I hope you will consider it! It's my adult mental health vacay, lol, while Belize will be just as fun but with my teen.

I just returned, yesterday, from our Belize/Tikal adventure. Sadly, even though we were told otherwise, Roxy was unavailable to guide us through Tikal. We were initially very annoyed and disappointed, but we ended up very pleased with the young man we ended up with. I have his name packed away in my luggage, and will retrieve it when I unpack. He was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, and we had a great experience with him, even in the rain.
