Yes . The elimination was on the Quepos Beach .... I remember there is a road that runs along the water , edged by cement . The contestants had to run up this road ,I saw a sign for The Iguana Bar ?? Years ago I went to some kind of swimming pool there or in the area , Naomi something ? It was fun to see , the team that was eliminated want to return , the father said " I love this place " ! Alas , No tickets yet , but checking prices each day !! Determined to get there !

Yes, I saw that aqua-coloured wall! I was thinking it was in the vicinity of a coffee shop I stopped in (milagro? don't remember) but across the street, it was so hard to tell with such quick glimpses. Rainmaker looked so lush - beautiful! That clip should be a primer for people always asking about the weather in CR....it was pouring then boom the sun is out!
Lisa sorry about your electricity! I hate it when that happens!

faithie and tully: YUP! That was downtown Quepos near the Milagro and Iguana Bar. (By the way, the teal colored wall is being refurbished and new seating and plantings will soon be completed! Looks nice!) Anyway, the last installment they ran along the waterfront toward the fishing pier and then out toward the Naomi (or what was formerly Naomi). The city has taken bids to rebuild Naomi into something more community oriented. The last I heard it will NOT be a resort etc. but a pool and community center. Fingers crossed that is true! The cove where they had the race/swim is usually so calm so I'm sure when they did the filming the producers were fit to be tied! to see the water so rough, yikies! This is a very rarely visited/used area in Quepos so it's easy to understand why it was chosen and why so many of us had no idea anything was "up". The pier/Niamo and old banana company area was previously on my a.m. walk route until I realized that it was rather remote and I got a bit spooked! It was a fun episode to watch although I think that a more appropriate activity would have been filling Quepos potholes (tourism experts would not agree with me though!) Oh and the phones they used were right in Quepos at the city park. All of the transportation vans were Iguana Tours too so it seemed somebody was in on this! Does anyone else think the camera man enjoyed filming the local dogs? ha! Lisa
