Hollywood stars (!?) are going to Costa Rica as Costa Rica has become "The hottest destination in Latin America."

These are the stars that have recenly been spotted in Costa Rica:

1. Danny DeVito..doing rain forest and volcano tours.(Stayed at Fours Seasons)

2.Drew Barrymore....did zipline tours and also did bungee jumping out of a hot air balloon.!!

3.Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were soaking up the sun at Hotel Punta Islita on the Nicoya Coastline.

4. Arnold Schwarzenegger and family were at the Four Seasons.
When asked if he liked Costa Rica ..he said "I'll be back " !!!
and
5. shillmac was spotted in Monteverde in July of this year (!!!!)

Good Night all

and a bunch more actors and rock stars...I guess everybody's catching on to our secret little paradise!

Thanks for the added information surfexec:

Actually shillmac is the #1 Star that I would like to run in to in Costa Rica.

But you know how these "Stars" travel, with their entourage.... I would never get near shillmac anyway.

(Oh,oh...I think I'm in deep trouble, I hope shillmac does not see this !)

Hi fathie

Hi Faithie, Surfexec. . .

Percy. . .you've been drawing too many U.S. maps! And yes, if you'd seen us traveling last summer, you would have thought "entourage" with all of Isabelle's infant paraphanalia! I think we had 14 check-ins and carry-ons between the 4 of us!

Don't mention Costa Rica y yo in the same breath--I'm too homesick! Especially during this weeks' West Texas 3 degrees below, minus 33 degrees wind chill. Give me little Hotel Brasilito, no AC--anything!

See shillmac , everyone agrees with me.!!

And you thought I was kidding !

And no I am not going to ask you when you are going to Costa Rica again....don't want to make you homesick.

Try to stay warm on the North American Continent with the rest of us.

Hi to faithie and surfexec

Just got back inside from cutting christmas evergreen boughs in the woods . I made 6 wreaths and an 8 ft. garland , by the time I was finished twisting the last wire I could not feel my fingers or toes !! A neighbour came over to chat, and my cheeks and lips were so numb I had a hard time speaking !! BRRRRR... OH CANADA !!! Hi to all ! Faith .

Faithie, I am impressed! Not much of a cold weather person myself--I think that's why I never really cared to get into snow skiing. Too much stuff to keep up with and try to walk at the same time! I'll bet the fresh greenery smells wonderful--thanks for sharing a little Christmas spirit on Fodor's! Canadian style. . .

And thanks for changing the subject! LOL

Percy and Surfexec--to counteract my cravings for CR, I'm listening the the Natural Sounds of Costa Rica CD that Tully spoke of on a recent post. The one her cat enjoys! Isabelle is here with me and she has just learned to "woof". She is woofing up a storm at all the sounds. I guess she thinks they are all dogs!

hmmm Nature Sounds of Costa Rica..sounds nice, I will have to listen to it.
Isn't it sooooo nice to have Isabelle around !

fathie:

I see on the National News all the bad weather in the Eastern part of Canada and Halifax also.

Right now we have almost no snow and it was 56 F out here in the West...but our blast is coming..just you wait and see.

Take Care all of you

Why I'm just TOO funny !! The whole point of my " toes freezing post " was to say that "I too" am missing Costa Rica !!! lol . An un-intentional change of subject . Perhaps a good toad poo story is in order ..?! faith .

yes it does get cold here...but right now it is great..way above average for this time of the year.

Anyway in 3weeks I am going to Ixtapa and Acapulco, so that should help.

But like shillmac I keep thinking of Costa Rica.

Good Night all and you too surfexec !!

oh faithie you know I'm always up for a good toad poo story

No idea what the weather is outside, probably in the 70's, still trying to collect my wits about me after last nights Christmas party.

I'd hate to see a famous person that I liked in CR! I can just imagine "hi, I know my feet are covered in mud, I've got some spider webs trailing off me, I look like I've been in the sauna fully-clothed and don't ask what that green stuff is on my arm but can we take a pic together?" Oh, the horror!

Hola to everyone! Stay warm! shillmac I will drop you a line soon - december has just been a crazy month!

Hi Tully,
It's been crazy here, too. Kids and teachers definitely ready for some R&R! I'm ready to hear the Toad Poo story again, so have at it Faithie!

70's you say, Tully? Poor thing! You must be freezing! I gotta say we've managed to climb back into the 60's this weekend and today from our 3 below zero days last week. Sure do appreciate the difference!

Write when you have time. Always good to hear from you! How's "whiskers"
