fishing resort

Can anyone recommend a great fishing lodge/resort for my husband, our 13 year old son and myself. Are there any with extras like a pool?

I believe Quepos has the largest sport fishing fleet in the country ? It has lots of hotels with pools , lots of activities closeby . Was it ocean fishing ?

unless you have already decided or booked to CR, look at Banyan Bay Villas in Belize. Awesome resort, the best fishing in the world. Day trips fishing right from pier at resort on private boat that includes lunch, the fish you just caught on a private island, can't go wrong.

CR is the option, at least this time. My husband has business down there.

Thank you for the fishing info for CR!

Parrot Bay in Puerto Jimenez, Crocodille Bay in Puerto Jimenez are big fishing lodges. Practically right next door to Croc Bay is a great kayaking company. We were kayaking last winter around there and the dolphins were following the fishing boats coming in at the time we were in the Gulf. It was a lot of fun kayaking along with them.

For snook and Tarpon up around Barra Colorado (just north of Tortuguero) are some big fishing lodges. Don't know about the pool. Silver King is the name of one of the places but there are others. The canals are great for wildlife touring.
