mauel antonio is not really a surf beach, you'd be better off at dominical, hermosa or jaco.

my brother wants to try surfing, which he has never done. He is 18 and we will only be in San Jose, Arenal, and Manuel Antonio. Will he think he is surfing in Manuel Antonio or is not worth the try?

We were there last spring and our son took surfing lessons. No need to book ahead. You can easily arrange them with the fellows on the beach. Negotiate your price.

Walk north (along the shore) away from the park. Just past MarYSombra restaurant, Manuel Antonio Surf School is set up or you can call them at 777-4842 once you arrive. When are you coming to M. Antonio? Lisa

We will be there over Easter Break, when it's busier I know. I am looking for something for my nephew for a few hours, or maybe a half day.
