Quick Stop at Cabo!!
Hello,
It's my first time to Cabo San Lucas and need help with an itinerary.
My trip with my dad is as follows; arrive to Cabo Oct 31 and Fly back Nov 6.
Any good ideas what to do for Dia de los Muertos?
Activities for an atheltic guy (up for anything) and for a 70 year old (in good shape) dad (with back injury)?
LOVE Seafood any good restaurant recommendations?
Beaches to relax and for a quick dip?
Hikes,shopping, MSC....
Would love any advice please?
Oh should I bring some pesos with me or wait until I arrive to exchange $$$?
Thanks,
Niño

The main swimmable beach at Cabo San Lucas is called Medano Beach. It's right near downtown, lined with fun beach bars and restaurants.
Nearby Paraiso Mall is nice for shoppiong.
Either way works for money, bring with, exchange upon arrival, OR use an debit card at an ATM bank machine to get peso.

Where are you staying? Cabo San Lucas, San Jose, the Corridor? This may dictate recommendations for food and fun.
I have used this site for airport transport. They also book activities. Lots of thing to choose from.

I used the link Michelle posted for my airport transfers as well. It's important to pre-arrange in Cabo since the airport's 29 miles from town, so it doesn't really work to "grab a taxi" like some other places.

I appreciate all your feedback !
My dad and I will be staying in Cabo San Lucas at the Fairfield Inn (on a budget) by the main docks off of Paseo de la Marina.
We will be renting a car (is this worth it/good idea?).
Are there any events/fiestas during Dia de los Muertos?

Staying right in town like you are, a car may not be needed. You can walk pretty much any where in town or use cabs. To go out on the corridor or to San Jose, you can take the bus. Cheap. Excursions can be booked. My husband always wants a car, but it is only useful when we stay in San Jose. In CSL, a car has been a waste for us.
If you drop the car, you will need to pre arrange round trip airport shuttle.
We will be there in about 3 weeks!
