Cabo San Lucas

I am off to the Puebla Bonita Pacifico Resort for a week and am wondering if there is anything interesting to do in the environs. I have been told there is whale watching, but not sure it is the season?? Is there a town or towns to explore? The resort is all-inclusive, so we won't have to leave for meals or really anything , but would like to explore if there are things to be seen.

Thank you!

It is probably still too early for whale watching, but Pueblo Bonito just sent out a notice about baby turtle releases:

Take a ride to San Jose del Cabo or up to Todos Santos. PB has a shuttle bus over to their sister resorts, Rose and Blanco, in town on Medano Beach. Very fun!.

We did the Wine & Jazz Sunset Cruise and the Los Cabos Photo tour and enjoyed them.

I used this company to book:

We stayed in the Marina and also did AI, but we did venture out to some nice restaurants and bars. If you're interested my trip report with photo link is listed here. Just click my sign on name. Have a great trip!

Sure, downtown Cabo San Lucas is fun to walk around. There's The Marina, Puerto Paraiso Shopping Mall, a small museum with history of Cabo, Medano Beach (public beach lined with beach bars).

If you mean outside of Cabo, then Todos Santos could be a day trip.

San Jose del Cabo is a nice place to visit and explore. We enjoyed the nature walk in San Jose del Cabo's Estuary and Bird Sanctuary. It is near the Holiday Inn.

We love the area and will be going back again in February. Enjoy your trip!
