Plunge pool help!

hello all, my first post on this website and i am in crisis situation! i told my fiancee that we would book Ikal del Mar in Playa del Carmen but it's all booked up. i am responsible for arranging the honeymoon and her only requirement was that one place had to have a private plunge pool. i'm doomed. we will be staying for 10-11 nights in the yucatan peninsula, probably staying for 2-3 nights at several different places. so far i was thinking JW Marriot Cancun 2 nights, Ceiba del Mar 3 nights, Azulik 3 nights, and Ikal del Mar 2 nights. But now after not being able to reserve the Ikal del Mar, i'm a little frantic. i want her to have this one thing. Anyone know of a nice place that offers this?

Also, we are staying in december 2005. i did find that Paraiso de la Bonita has plunge pool, but december rate is a staggering $900/night. Maroma doesn't have the plunge pool,as far as i know, or else this could be an option.
thanks again

I think there are some rooms at Esencia with plunge pools.

Esencia's website has just gone live, 'tho some sections seem to be still in progress.

Have you considered private vacation rentals? Most usually only require a min. of 3 nights and most of them seem to have a plunge pool or splash pools (another name) and they are quite comparable price-wise, to hotels, sometimes cheaper and sometimes more luxurious.
