Need some help....

I am looking for the perfect locale for my wedding. Belize seems to have the beauty of a tropical beach for my fiance and the eco-activities I am interested in. I am trying to find the best place to stay and have the wedding...I would like it to be coastside if not in Ambergis Caye. The research I've done isn't turning up much of interest with the exception of Kanatik Resort. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

There are lots of possibilities. On Ambergris Caye, Victoria House, Portofino and Mata Chica do quite a few weddings and honeymoons, but there are many other good choices as well. There are even a couple of wedding planners in San Pedro.

On the southern coast, Inn at Robert's Grove in Placencia and Hamanasi in Hopkins do weddings but again there are many other choices depending on your budget. Kanantik is an all-inclusive.

I haven't decided on a budget quite yet...I really want to go somewhere where the food is excellent. I was thinking of Kanantik b/c they were inclusive and had all these different activities provided. But, whether those activities are really available I don't know. I will look into the others you suggested. Thanks!

At Kanantik the food is pretty good but you are locked in this one place. On Ambergris Caye and to a lesser extent in Placencia you have a wide variety of restaurants, some very, very good.

Sounds good...I've been reading a lot of the postings and realized you have a bunch of books out there. So, I'll go get a couple and continue my research...it looks like AC is the ideal site...thanks so much for your insight!
