Mexican Riveria luxury AL resort adults only

What are the most luxurious "adults only" smaller resorts in the Mexican Riveria?
I've been looking at Secrets Maroma, Grand Velas etc, but they are so large. Do you know of any AL that are more boutique-ish in size?

I've never been to any of the Secrets Resorts but I know that Capri is smaller than the others. How about Royal Hideaway That is very luxurious. Good luck

We actually stayed at Maroma and loved it. Looking for other suggestions. Thank you.

There are a lot more choices lately, including a Mandarin Oriental, a Rosewood, and soon a Banyan Tree---all in the Mayakoba development. Plus there are some other boutique operations around that are upscale. I'm not sure how big The Tides is, but that is sure to be impressive. Scroll to the Cancun/Riviera Maya section of this site for reviews of the "best of the best" places:
