Spent a week at Secrets Capri in 2007 and loved it. Can recommend. Maroma Resort has been on the list for the "Ten Best Resorts" on the travel channel. Have not stayed there, but have only heard good things about it. Can't go wrong with either IMHO. Go to TRIP ADVISOR for more comments.

Not sure if you are gone on your trip, but....
Yes, Secrets would be outstanding for luxury and romance. They are the luxury, couples-only all-inclusive resorts that are sister properties to Dreams and Sunscape, all of which get rave reviews and I know many people who return again and again. The El Dorado Resorts are spectacular - the El Dorado Royale has spa tubs in each room! Also, the Royal Hideaway Playacar is beautiful and luxurious and very romantic - many upscale honeymoons and world-class dining.
Best,
Julia

I am having the same trouble deciding. After checking out all the reviews I came to the conclusion that Secrets Maroma has a much nicer beach and the water is blue and clean. At Capri not so nice. Both are all inclusive, Both are getting rave reviews. I am leaning towards Maroma now after I thought I had my mind made up on Capri, Still holding out,
