Los Cabos--San Jose or Cabo San Lucas?
Which area offers the most? We're looking for the ideal spot to have a relaxing and fun honeymoon. We enjoy great beachfront all-inclusive resorts, but want to be close enough to nightlife to enjoy what the area has to offer. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

My husband and I spent 9 days split at the Hyatt and Palmilla(now closed til Dec.) Cabos San Lucas has the most activity by far. San Jose is much quieter, and I would plan on going to a nice dinner out at Morgans, Fandango, or Tequilla. One thing you should consider is that any "corridor" hotels are FAR from either town, and it will cost on average 20 dollars one way to get from the hotel to town. That really adds up! You can take the bus for $1 but you usually wait between 15-35 minutes for it to pick you up. I would suggest staying at a resort right in Cabo San Lucas. Absolutely go to The Office- lots of fun! Happy Honeymoon!

Hi,
We stayed in Cabo and spent the mornings walking the streets in San Jose.
San Jose is a small paradise town with cute shops and 'olde' rustic charm which we enjoy and eat fresh cut fruit platters chilled on ice for $2.00.
Cabo is a 5-7 mile stretch of beach hotels with a very commercial downtown great to spend the evenings.
Make sure you buy the colorful TALAVERAS art pottery as mementos of your trip especially marked on the back as, "Hernandez of Puebla". His work is the finest. A 14" platter could be had for $30.00 if bargained.
Enjoy!
