Las Hadas Manzanillo Rooms

Can anyone tell me the difference in a Brisas Beach club room and an Executive Jr. Suite? Or do you have a room preference? Seems there is alot of difference in the various websites. I'd rather have a beachfront (view) room lower to beach level. Any info would be appreciated. We are just going for 2 or 3 nights following a stay at Tamarindo.

If you are staying at the Las Hadas..it is a very nice place.
It is built into a hillside, so you want to be on the lower levels near the beach area.
Tough to get a beach /ocean view because of the way it is built, but any room about the central courtyard is nice , vegetation seems to block the view of some ocean rooms unless you are sitting on the balcony.
The higher up you are ( up the mountain) the better the view and the further to come down to the beach.!!
My best advice is to ask for Room 1000, or 2000 or 3000 or 4000.
These will be at the number one corner spot and you have beautiful windows on both side, it is like a suite for the same price as a single room.
Have a nice time there.

Thank you for the info! I did make reservations for 3 nights in a Brisas Beach Club Room which they say are the closest to the beach & have oceanviews (?). I will ask about the room numbers you suggested. We are going north to Tamarindo for 6 nights & did the same last year & then stayed at Grand Bay afterwards but this year I wanted to just try Las Hadas since it has had such a reputation. If you have any suggestions on the restaurants or anything we should do in town or something interesting south of town, I would love to hear!

Hi again.
Peg when I was there I took the tour to Barra de Navidad( about 30 miles away) this is a very nice town and you get to walk around for a few hours before having lunch right by the water.
The trip to Barra goes through the most beautiful golf course I ever saw.
I also took the tour to Colima and Comala... Colima is the capital of the province of Colima...this also was a great tour and once again lunch was included and you got to walk about Colima for a while and shop if that is what you want to do.( Lovely Place)

Right next to Las Hadas is the Karmina Place, as nice as this place is ,it does NOT have a beach area!!!, just the pools.
There is a nice paved pathway along the water from Las Hadas to Karmina Place, take this path and walk into the lobby of Karmina Place, then exist out the front door ,now turn to your left and you will see the parking lot and then tennis courts...walk past the tennis courts and all the way down the paved road( golf course is beside you),the road is about 4 blocks long... when you get to the end of the road ,you are on the main street heading to down town Manzanillo.
Turn to your left and about 2-3 blocks down is a shopping mall and some internet cafes.
It is nice just to do this walk but take some water it could be 90 F.
Ask for rooms 1000,2000,3000,4000 becuse you will be so near to everything, the lovely courtyard where drinks are served until midnight, both restaurants are only a very short walk.
The beach is a very short walk, just down the steps, that is where breakfast is served right beside the pool and the ocean .( Take the peir walk everyday ,it is right in front of you by the pool.)
The main lobby is only 20 feet away, the tour van comes to the main lobby.
Las Hadas is in its own little world, very nice and no traffic rushing by it.
There is no bus that runs by it like at other resorts. So take the walk I outlined to Karmina Place and beyond.
If Colima is too far for you, then take the Barra de Navidad tour!!
Have a great time.
I was in room 1000 and absolutely loved it.

Thank you so much Percy for all the good information! I love the walk you outlined. Oops, I meant EL Tamarindo, the resort 45 minutes north of Manzanillo. We went last year in October & absolutely loved it. The South Pacific is our favorite spot & this is close to it in atmosphere, open-air bungalows with plunge pools beachfront. We did also stay at Grand Bay Isla de Navidad where the golf course is you are referring to. Beautiful resort! but only about 20 couples in the entire place! And we did go to Barre de navidad & also enjoy Melaque several times. I think we will go to Colima as you suggested, something different. Thank you again for the suggestions. Every bit of information on a place you haven't been can be so helpful.

Oops I goofed also, when you take that walk out of Karmina Palace past the tennis courts to get to the main street.
Okay when you arrive at the main street you turn RIGHT and not left as I had previouly stated!!! The shopping mall is about 2-3 blocks down, and on your right hand side as you are walking along the main street is the golf course, a chain link fence is along here.
The road from Karmina Palace to main street is straight as an arrow, you cannot miss it.
Take Care
have Fun
