Isla Mujeres Golf Cart and Bikes
Hi I'm planning on taking the ferry to Isla Mujeres and renting either a bike or a golf cart to tour the island. Does anyone know the approximate price for a day? I just don't want to bring too much or too little cash with me. Hope someone can help! Thanks!

We were there in December, you would think I would remember, but I'm not sure if it was $35.00 or $40.00 for an eight hour golf cart rental. This was for the so-called 'fast' cart, has larger tires. Whatever. The island isn't very big, maybe five miles long, so if you're into biking it wouldn't be too hard. Although there are some hills.
If you do run short of cash, there are several ATM's on the island.
On our one and only trip to Cancun a few years ago, we ended up taking the ferry to Isla two different days. We discovered it suited us better than Cancun. Much cheaper too.

As far as I know there isn't any ferry from Cozumel to Isla Mujeres. So, to get from one to the other, you would have to drive or take a bus from Cancun to Playa del Carmen, where the ferry to Cozumel is. I don't think it would be worth the bother as a day trip. Jean
