Iguazu Hilton Your Opinions

Hi Everyone
I am thinking of travelling to the Iguazu Falls and I was thinking of staying at the Iguazu Hilton for 2 nights. Has anyone stayed there? Did you feel it was value for money? What sort of rates did you pay? Did you book it through an agent or with the hotel directly?
I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Joe, we stayed there and it is in my opinion the best place to stay by far because of its location. It is inside the National Park right there were the falls are.
The view from the rest. bar etc is beautiful , there are two kind of rooms those facing the back, vegetation, and those facing the front, difference is like 40%.
We made reservations through wowargentina.com.ar, they sold us a very good package including transfers from airport,. Several walks
like the upper circuit, lower circuit and the walk inside the bridge towards the garganta del Diablo can be done on your own if you stay in the Sheraton.
Rates include a very good buffet breakfast. Good luck.

Use the strongest mosquito repellant possible, for the hikes around the falls.

You are right I was talking all the time of the Sheraton , I thought that Joe simply used the word Hilton instead of Sheraton.....

I think the boat ride down into the Falls is the best adventure ..You will get very wet but what a thrill...Be prepared to have a 30 minute walk back to the Sheraton,,,It was the highlight of our 2 day visit.
