Hotel near Pavas airport
Can someone recommend a hotel near this airport . We arrive in San Jose at 1:45 in the afternoon and will stay overnight for a flight to the Osa the next day. We might have a few hours to walk around San Jose or enjoy the grounds of a nice hotel. Thanks.

We liked to Hotel Sabana - a B&B run by retired teachers. It isn't fancy but it was friendly and comfortable. It's only a few blocks from Sabana Park. They gave us a great breakfast and a ride to the airport in the morning.

We especially like the location and staff of the Hotel Don Carlos. Breakfast is good, the prices are reasonable, and you can't beat the loction for daytime exploring of the city! At night, it's just a 2 minute, $3 taxi ride away from El Pueblo.
