Honeymoon Hotel In Cacun

Which hotel is better for honeymoon. Hyatt Cancun Caribe, JW Marriott or Fiesta Grand Coral Beach?

Unless you are big party people, I would not recommend Cancun for a honeymoon. It is very commercialized and not romantic at all. The Mayan Riviera and Playa Del Carmen, however, are much more laid back and romantic. The place that Sam talks about is on the south end of PDC.

How can Cancun with its white beaches and ocean water with sunrises and sunsets be not romantic at all? I understand the other choices are more laid back, but I wouldn't describe Cancun as not romantic at all. Just my two cents.

Fiesta American Grand Coral Beach is my fav! Amazing pool, good restaurants, great service & ammenities, great location, rooms clean, beautiful grounds... We loved it!

Soph, I am heading to FAGCB for the first time this winter! Any words of advice? I've asked for a room above the 3rd floor because of vegetation. Also, sometimes I wonder if we should go with a hotel with all-inclusive - there are some deals out there that would make it under $300 more than the hotel only at coral beach (5 nights). We did get an awesome rate at coral beach of $101 plus tax per night. Would love any tidbits you could share. Laurie
