I'm trying to find a nice hotel for the first night of our honeymoon. We know about the JW Mariott, what are some of the other top recommendations?

Thanks Diana. Unfortunately only the most expensive rooms at the JW Marriott were available and I've heard that the Ritz Carlton is currently under construction. I'll check out your two other recommendations. This is a first night stay in Cancun for me and my future husband before we head off to Ikal del Mar for a 5-night honeymoon stay. We're excited!

We stayed at Le Meridian and it was a very nice hotel. The room was nice and the pools were very nice. The beach area was great. We went with a conference at the Ritz and we were the ones who were spilled over at the Meridian. We were not dissappointed in our assignment. I would return to this hotel.

Good choice on Ikal del Mar. Very romantic and private.
