Shillmac,
Loved your photos! Your Isabelle is adorable. I have an almost 2 yr old grandchild Isabelle as well.
You really helped me feel more comfortable about places to stay & see. It's a big country so I'd rather see alot in some parts than spend all of my time traveling.
I'll continue to keep up with your posts. It's a huge help!
Gini

Percy, you're going to have to swim the canals. You're just a little to "peppy" for gondola riding, which is supposed to by very lazy and indolent!

Gini, I'm glad something (I know I ramble) I've said could be helpful to you. I liked your phrase "It's a big country". . .actually it is a very small little place, but feels like a HUGE country with so many different climates/zones and the time it takes to get from one to the other!

Does everyone call your little granddaughter Isabella? Very few people (except in Costa Rica where it is a common name, Isabel) actually say "Isabelle". . .Isabella is very popular right now! Thanks--we like her a lot!

Bill, cmcfong topped the post for another poster who was wondering about crossing the bridge on foot between Panama and Costa Rica.

Thanks Jill,
I guess I'll learn the lingo some day.
Just added a few more pictures to my Kodak site.
