Thanks to Percy (a VERY KNOWLEDGABLE Fodor's member), I've added some pictures from our trip. "Cut and paste" this link:

Absolutely FABULOUS pictures!

Thanks so much for allowing us to share in your memories. And thanks for the time it took to write the notes on each!

What great pictures!

It's hard to tell of course, but I swear that is the same iguana that was there at Costa Verde last year. He was always right outside the Anaconda and would very grudgingly move if a car had to get by!

Thanks floydf.... great pictures

Always nice to see pictures of Costa Rica.

yes, you have to be lucky to see Poas when it is not cloudy.

I also agree that Sky Trek ride is really something!!!!

I truly enjoyed all your pictures and thanks for the kind words but I am not really thta knowledgable... I just helped the lady a few weeks ago as to how to post her pictures on Fodors.

I can just picture you zipping on a beer on the front porch looking out at Arenal... aah the good life..too bad it has to end.

Great report , great pictures and thanks you for taking the time to write in the captions under the pictures.

Percy

Thanks so much for the pix. They were great.
The zip-line looked as intense as you had described. I'm hoping I can work up the courage as I don't want to miss out on the experience. Hoping.

Thanks, Floyd, for sharing your photos. You really captured some great moments! Some of my favorites were your fishing photos, and also enjoyed seeing Lost Iguana and Villas Nicolas. Both places we'd like to stay. Looks like you and Robin had a great time--pura vida, right?

We did have a GREAT time! Robin is still teasing me about how she caught more fish, and I'm still called "Zippy" for actually flying down those cables. I've got a video from my camera of one of those 1/2 mile runs, and it still brings back chills!

For our next trip to Costa Rica, We'll probably skip Dominical since we aren't surfers, and that is too far to drive to get to those beaches that I wouldn't even want to lay out on (plus, I don't just lay out anyway; I'd be looking for a fishing pole or something!). I'd like to get to the Peninsula and trying fishing in the Playa Carrillo/Playa Samara area, since I heard while I was there and from Tico Times (Jerry) that the area is great for fishing and has pretty beaches as well. I'd probably go north to check out more wildlife. But, taking a flight to the very southern end of the country would be enticing too from what I've read on the forum. Thanks again, everyone!

Yes, Pura Vida!

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that picture of the electric shower head. I shocked the heck out of myself this morning on one here @ Kaps Place in San Jose.

Metal pipes, water and electricity just don't go hand in hand. So a warning to anyone out there that might have to use one, do not touch the metal pipe while you are covered in water.
