Has anyone ever stayed at Presidente Intercontinental Cancun

If so, how was the beach? Was the water calm or wavey, was the sea clear of seaweed and could you walk the beach?

How were the rooms and did the AC work properly?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Cheri

We stayed there several years ago. Most all Intercontinental hotels are good. Our room was excellent! We had a balcony & on one side was the ocean and on the other was the lagoon. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey, but really good. The beach was very nice. The hotel wasn't too far from downtown. You could walk, but we took a taxi. The concierge will assist you with good places to eat, etc. We ate some wonderful Red Snapper at a place called El Pescador (the fisherman)- try it, if it's still there. Have fun!

My daughter and I stayed there in April.
We loved it. The rooms were good size and the air worked just fine.
The beach is great. Plenty of shade if you want it. The water isn't deep in that area and no seaweed at all. The water is calm.
I would recommend the Presidente for a nice stay in Cancun
