Excursion Recommedations-Riviera Maya
We will be staying at El Dorado Royale in Nov and are interested in going on a few excursions. We are considering the Mayan zip line, but are not thrilled about the 6 hour excursion, is it possible to just do the zip line and nothing else? Also, has anyone be on the horseback riding excursion, pros/cons? Also, is the dolphin swim worth the money?
Thanks

Along these lines, can anyone tell me if you can just do the zip line and cenote at Selvatica without the bike ride? I'm not interested in biking in the Mexican jungle in the 90-degree summer. The web site I sent my question to doesn't answer the questions--just copies the info from their web page. Thanks.

The bike ride is to get you to the cenote. It's just a short ride through a bit of jungle and then down a dirt road (the same one you drove in on). If you choose to not go with the cenote then I guess you wouldn't have to do the bike ride. I know someone going on that trip tomorrow so I can let you know if anything has changed.

The 6 hrs probably includes transportation and lunch too. You can also drive or take a cab to the cenote (Cenote Verde) on your own. It's about 17 km out the road to Vallarta. It costs $6 US per person for the zip line at the cenote.
We've done both the whole Selvatica package with Cenote Verde and Cenote Verde alone. The cenote has always been a trip highlight for our teenage boys.
