I don't understand he question, Are you talking Motorcycle or pushbike? Are you looking at touring? Are you intending to hire a bike ?

Thanks wilit and Ira, just getting use to this site. We have decided to look for a great area and then hire bikes as needed after looking at Bike tours Ira it all seemed a bit daunting

I would probably go to Sicily at a time of year it wasn't hot. Or the Emilia-Romagna. I'm thinking: "Places without hilltowns."
