DRIVE FROM ARENAL TO MANUEL ANTONIO

I AM TRAVELING WITH MY WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN AGES 12 & 14. I UNDERSTAND THE DRIVE FROM ARENAL TO MANUEL ANTONIO IS ABOUT 5 HOURS. JUST LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHO HAS MADE THIS DRIVE AND WONDERING IF THEY DID IT IN ONE DAY OR STAYING OVER 1/2 WAY.

THANKS

I'd suggest one day. It does by fairly quickly and it is a pretty drive. I'd allow about 6 hours, especially since you'll probably stop to stretch, grab a bite, and certainly to see the crocs at the Rio Tarcoles! It would be great if you could get started by about 8:00 in the morning (days start early in CR) or earlier and arrive MA by 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon. Just about any time you move from one locale to another, it takes a day. Have fun!

We made the drive in 1 day in Feb. with our 12, 14, and 10 year olds. It was just fine. Nice drive, places to stop along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to do it in one day. Shillmac is right, it was 6 hours.
