Hi, all. My husband and I booked a driver through Selva Verde for our most recent trip. She was very sweet and safe and went out of her way to show us some neat things like a beautiful waterfall and a place to see coatis. I thought I would pass her info. along for anyone who might need to book a driver. She took us from San Jose to Selva Verde in the Sarapiqui area and then on to Arenal later in our trip. She was very punctual and the van was comfy. Very safe too.

How much does it cost for a driver? Did she provide the vehicle?

Drivers always provide the vehicle. We paid about $155 to go from the San Jose area to Selva Verde. It varies by trip, but you can contact them for estimates. Have also used Carlos Bogarin from Destinos Encantados, and he was excellent as well. He has a website if you want to check it out. Coincidentally his brothers are the ones who have the Bogarin Trail. Small world!
