Central America with OAT

Anyone done any trips here with Overseas Adventure Travel esp. their El Salvador/Honduras/Guademala/Belize itinerary?
How did you enjoy them?
Thanks.

It may be a little late for this reply, but we went with O.A.T. to Costa Rica and were very pleased with the staff, the accomdations, food, itinerary, etc.

Sorry I missed your original post in November. We took the OAT trip you referred to, The Route of the Maya.
It was very interesting. Our leader was good for the most part. Good food and accomodations. We liked going with the small group of 15 and traveling on the small buses.

Thank you both for your feedback.
We were considering this trip for this winter but have to hold off, perhaps till next winter.
We did do a trip with OAT last spring to Turkey and loved every bit of it.
We were lucky in having a great guide and good weather.
Travelpaw, what time of year did you go? How was the weather?
.

We went in June. The weather was very nice in Copan, Antigua and Lake Atitlan, but very hot and humid at Tikal and Belize.
We would like to take the OAT trip to Turkey also. We are going on their Classic Greece and the Greek Islands trip in April this year. What kind of weather did you have on the Turkey trip? Which month did you go?
Thanks

Our OAT Turkey trip ran from mid-May thru early June. The weather was great - no rain. Got a bit too hot while hiking, but on the other hand we heard that the trip before ours had rain while on the gulet- and there's lots of hiking on those days.
The water was brisk but totally swimable.

I can't answer your exact question, but we just returned from the OAT trip to Costa Rica and had a fabulous time. The weather is good at this time of year. We're going on their Turkey trip in October. This will be our 5th OAT trip, and we've loved them all.
