Cancun Hotels

I'm trying to find a nice hotel for the first night of our honeymoon. We know about the JW Mariott, what are some of the other top recommendations?

The Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is unquestionably one of the best of the best...

Have fun!

The Fiesta Americana hotel chain is opening a new hotel called Aqua. It looks really nice and is in a better location then the JW Marriott.

BTW, the JW is a nice hotel and I'd recommend it. However, depending on when you're going, we actually found there location to be a bit of a problem for those who like to linger on the beach until the late afternoon.

We were there just a few weeks ago, and because of the height of the hotel and the angle of the sun, most of the beach and pool area were in the shade by 2 in the afternoon.

If you stay at the JW Marriott, splurge a bit for a room with an ocean view.

must depend upon the time of year re. the JW and sun...we've always stayed late summer, and there was plenty of sun.
Also, I like the JW location because it's away from the hustle bustle, but everything is easy to get to quickly by bus...
I'd love to see pics of the new FA Aqua! I wonder what their beach is like...
